“I wish we could cane both of y’all” said one of the deputies after entering the house and arresting residents.
Natania Griffin and her family got an aggressive wake up call at 1:30AM from the DeKalb County, Georgia Sheriff’s Department. Her son Donovan Hall said he had no idea why police would be at their door, so they weren’t quick to open it.
They never once told me why they were here, what they wanted, or who they wanted,” said Griffin.
After more than 30 minutes and confirming with 911, the family opened the door and all hell breaks loose as the deputies enter the home. The video shows the abusive language, overt threats and physical intimidation sanctioned by the sheriffs.
It was later determined there was an arrest warrant for Natania Griffin for not paying a $1,000 civil fine.
The deputies are now under investigation for their actions. See the video below and determine if this was abuse or would you have immediately opened the door?
