Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def), price has announced his retirement from music and Hollywood five days after being detained in South Africa for allegedly attempting to travel with a false passport. He disputes the claims saying that the “world passport” he was traveling with is real and that the government charges are false.

In the track he also elaborates further on his side of the situation. Yeezy shared the message to his 18.1 million Twitter followers and the word was definitely out.
One South African group, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) is calling for Africans scattered around the world to be exempt from South Africa’s immigration laws, starting with Mos Def.
Currently Bey is free on bail and has been ordered to remain in the country until his trial on immigration charges.
