The Digital Divide is terminology used to describe the inequality between groups having access to, use of, or knowledge of information and communication technologies. Is the Digital Divide making progress or becoming more problematic?
Chris Curtis, Internet Business Strategist, says “The Digital Divide is very much still a problem. As technology moves forward, people are left behind for many reasons – sometimes no fault of their own.” The “Tech Tuesday” show on 900AM WURD, featuring Norm Bond and Kai Dupe, was a discussion about the issues, what influences those issues and what technology consumers can do about it.
Says Chris “My guests are activists for the betterment of African Americans. Both strive to improve conditions for minorities, and have strong opinions about the economic impact of technology”.
